A Streetcar Named Desire - Tennessee Williams

Last year Ricky Martinez undertook the presentation of Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie. This year it's A Streetcar Named Desire.

Streetcar, originally produce in 1947, starting Marlin Brando as Stanley Kowalski, helped to launch Brando's spectacular acting career. In NEW Theatre's performance, Angie Radosh stars as Blanche Du Bois resembling Jessica Tandy, star of the original performance. Radosh is a seasoned actress, well know and respected in South Florida. Her performance is outstanding in Streetcar, as it has been in every show that I've seen of hers. Travis Reiff plays Stanley, Elise Girardin returns to the NEW Theatre as Stella, and Clint Hooper, a NEW Theatre regular, plays Mitch.

If you like Tennesse Williams, or serious drama don't miss A Streetcar Named Desire. It's only playing for two more weeks and many performances are sold out.
