Ronni and I just returned from a BackRoads trip to Tucson, AZ, and the southwest Sonoran Desert. Our itinerary included 2 days at the beautiful Lowes Ventana Canyon Hotel, a couple of days at the Rancho de La Osa Guest Ranch, and a day in Tubac, an artist colony near Tucson.
Including our guides, there were 25 guests on the trip. A really nice group of interesting people and strong bikers. The weather was gorgeous, lending itself to great photography. I just got a new Canon printer which turns out some eye-popping photos. Besides traveling, I had the opportunity to photograph the opera Carmen, presented by the Gold Coast Opera. Their productions are fabulous. They are part of Sunset Entertainment, which also presents the Sunshine Pops and International Ballet. Ronni and I truly love their performances.
