Michelle Rosenfarb's play, The Gates of Choice, was a successful world premiere at the New Theatre, which I photographed. It is a story about an orthodox Israeli family struggling with ties between old religous traditions and their daughter's desire for new found freedom. The acting with Valentina Izarra, Kim Ehly, Laura Turnbull, Bill Schwartz and David Sirosis was superb. The audience's reaction to Michelle's first play was delightful, as it was brought to fruition by director Ricky Martinez.
